Easton Man Injured In Hit-And-Run When Thrown From Electric Cycle: Police

A 27-year-old Easton man was injured in a hit-and run crash after he was thrown from his electric cycle, police said.

The crash happened when a dark-colored sedan that was northbound on Cetronia Road turned left onto Werley Road directly in front of the Easton man's electric cycle at 6:54 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Upper Macungie Township Police Department.

The injured cyclist was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash, police said. The extent of his injuries wasn't disclosed. 

Daily Voice reached out to the Upper Macungie Township Police Department for an update on the victim's condition, but that information wasn't immediately available.

Following the crash, the driver of the sedan fled the scene, driving west on Werley Road, according to police. The sedan likely has damage to its passenger side and possibly to its roof.
